This acclaimed day tour is designed to expose you to the sheer, breathtaking natural beauty of Cape Town and the scenic Cape Peninsula, the cliffs and views from Cape Point, the iconic Cape of Good Hope, most south-westerly point of South Africa; be charmed by the endangered African Penguins at Boulders Beach and end the incredible day with a wine tasting at the oldest wine estate in South Africa, the historic Constantia. This is a unique South African experience where you can experience and enjoy a scenic drive to and through the Cape Winelands, visit the Cheetah Outreach Program and aid in conservation efforts, enjoy a brandy cellar tour and stand in awe of the skill of a master cooper applying his dying trade. A brandy tasting and pairing of award winning brandies with handcrafted Belgium chocolate in surroundings with old world ambiance. Lunch at a renowned wine estate in a historical Cape Dutch homestead dating back 200 years with a wine tasting. To finish the day with bubbles, a special experience and pairing of Methóde Cap Classique at The House of J.C. Le Roux, seems fitting to a day in the famed Cape Winelands. Spring Flower Power Tour (Seasonal for August & September)

Spring flowers in riotous showy colours blanket the countryside after good winter rains on the West Coast. Spend a day enjoying the colourful display and the wild animals of the West Coast National Park. The Postberg Reserve, which typically has the most flowers, is only accessible for the months of August and September, and because the animals here are not used to humans, they are therefor also not skittish and good sightings are possible. A gourmet picnic lunch at a scenic location is included. Feel like an explorer of old and enjoy the views from Seeberg, from where Table Mountain can be seen in the distance. Darling, it's Darling time!

Located on the West Coast, Darling is a quaint town nestled amongst the vineyards, wheat fields and nature reserves, magnificent wine estates and farms of the area. Darling is home to the well known and loved Tannie Evita, the newest wine route in South Africa and hand crafted and locally grown and produced products which are are grabbing international attention with it's great quality and that will delight the senses.   • All fields marked with * must be completed.
  • Once you have made a Booking enquiry, a consultant with The Cape Discovered will soon contact you with Confirmation of your booking, an Invoice with payment details, along with pick-up time from your accommodation and other important information.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.  No unaccompanied children will be permitted on any tour.

Booking & Payment Policy for Day Tours:

  • On receiving a booking request, an Invoice with payment details and booking confirmation number will be issued.
  • Day tour bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance.
  • A 50% deposit payment is required to secure and confirm a booking and tour date.
  • Full  payment is required prior to commencement of a tour.  No tour will depart without payment in full. 
  • NB:  Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Payment is accepted by EFT, Visa (international) or MasterCard.  Should you wish to pay with either Visa  or MasterCard, please inform us and an invoice with a secure payment link will be e-mailed to you.

Cancellation Policy for Day Tours:

  • No shows:  100% of payment will be forfeited.
  • 30+ days:  10% administration fee will be levied on cancellations. 
  • 14-30 days:  50% of payment will be forfeited.
  • -14 days:  100% of payment will be forfeited.

Change of date: 

  • As a show of goodwill, The Cape Discovered will accept a change to a confirmed tour date, without penalties, if communicated in writing at least 14 days prior to the booked tour commences and a mutually acceptable and convenient (new) tour date can be agreed on.

Please Note:

  • Clients are required to sign a Indemnity Form before tour commencement. Please see the link below for a copy of this document as well as our Standard Terms and Conditions of Service.
  • Photo Waiver - unless advised differently by a client, The Cape Discovered reserves the right to use any photos taken during the tour, travel or activity for marketing purposes.

  • As your maximum enjoyment is our utmost priority, our tours are private and unless requested or stated, no other groups or individuals will be combined or added to it. 
  • Comfortable, luxury, climate controlled vehicles are our preferred method of travel and sightseeing.  To this end we can accommodate small groups of up to 7 passengers in a German luxury vehicle.  Larger groups can  be accommodated with the same TCD attention,  with prior arrangement.  Your guide will spend time only with you and the people you are travelling with - we believe in a personalised experience. 
  • Go at your own pace.  See as much as you can or slow things down a little.  With your dedicated, private guide, your day is flexible.
  • Benefit from a local's invaluable knowledge and expertise to maximise your immersive experience.
  • Chilled water on board at all times.
